Elżbieta Zawacka, honour citizen of Toruń, legendary courier from the years of World War II (nickname Zo). The task of the organization is to collect, store, prepare items, but also museum exhibits reflecting the service of Polish women in the Polish Home Army and their part in fighting for independence of Poles. The Foundation makes research on the history of the National Army in Pomerania as well. In this way, the creators of the Foundation would like to maintain the memory of the heroes of the World Wars I and II, especially women, who equally with men fought to regain Poland's independence.
